On June 6th, the Memorial day,
I went out with my friend 'Nyongs' to Hongdae
(Hongik University - popular for fancy streets of youngs)
and dropped by at Hongdae Free Market of which I just only heard.
I eagered so much to go there since I was in Busan
and finally..!!! +_+
WOW!!!! Free Market in Hongdae Noriter (Hongdae Playground)
Woh.. Sooooo many crowd though the weather was hot
Lovely pottery and handmade works postcards,
notebooks, diaries with drawings.......
showing the artist's own style.
All of the artworks at there are
literally artworks made by hands of artists.
Nyongs is buying a Soju (a kind of alcohol) glass
of a cute cat couple. haha
It's a public toilet inside of Hongdae Noriter.
Even a toilet looks like something artistic too. haha
Drawings filled the toilet wall like this.
and on the other side,
there was a live concert called afternoon stage by indie-bands.
I don't remember the name of the band,
but the female vocal was soooo clear. BRAVO
And the most impressive section at the Hongdae Free Market.

Much much better than that of 'Mr. Good at Geeks'
It was so nice that the style of drawings was cute itself.
Well, but can't get out of the original,
it's just so so~ not bad~ just plain~
haahaahaaah.......

'Mr. Something Dubious' even has a fan club!
Before leaving to have something to eat, after laughing heartily,
we rode a seesaw in Hongdae Noriter. Nyongs is childlike lol
I think Hongdae Free Market is a really wonderful place;
I laughed so much with Nyongs and saw many cute artworks.
I hope to participate as an artist too someday,
well.. just thinking out loud.
Those who go out to Hongdae in weekends
should visit Hongdae Free Market.

Ways to go Hongdae Free Market
- From Hongdae Ipgu Station (Hongik University Station) Exit 5,
walk to Hongdae Jungmoon (Hongdae Main Gate) direction.
- From Sangsu Station Exit 1 or 2, walk to Hongdae Jungmoon direction.
- Ride the bus going to Hongdae Ipgu (No.273 or No.7011)
and come to Hongdae Jungmoon.
=> Hongdae Noriter is on the other side of Hongdae Jungmoon.
