Spot : Ihwa-dong Art Street(Ihwa-dong Yeasul Geori)
Address : Ihwa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
How to go(Transportation) : Hyehwa station(No. 4 subway line) exit2.
Go along Naksan Park road, turn left at Lock Museum,
and go into the right alley of the police box.
This is a stature next to Lock Museum.
Go to the left side of the museum to go to Art Street.
(The works are NOT in Naksan Park.)
From Lock Museum to the kindergarten(along the yellow line and the dotted line), you can see the works along the street.
Along the street, you'll see Handok drugstore and the police box next to it.
Can you see those eye and ear? Those seem to indicate they will watch and hear citizens through the eyes and the ears.
Go to the right side of the police box...
There is a snail sign which says 'Slow'. Art street starts from this sign.
Maybe you are lost and cannot find the street, you might be able to follow the people and find it. Because there are many people who have cameras to take pictures there.
The works I saw on the internet are on the wall of normal houses.
Camel...
It looks like it's made out of some iron wires. It's amazing.
I wish it was on my house.
If you go up the rough hill, you can see the other works on the wall.
The atmosphere of this town is totally great.
I saw these on the internet and I tried to write something on it,
but I forgot to bring a white pen. Damn it!!!!!
The reason why I took pictures aside is...
the cars are parked, because the street is in the residential street.
In addition, I could have missed some artworks because of the cars.
It's gorgeous. Now I know why people come here to see this.
The works are on the roadway next to Naksan Park.
This is a mechanical robot working out of solar heat.
but I saw it move a little then stop...
...I'll see this as an art work. lol
The electricity poles made of wood...
