몽촌 토성 (Mong-cheon mud castle)

Although some places are artificially gardened, Mong-cheon mud castle still has the beauty of its original figure. It is reborn as a site of superb scenic beauty with the help of its natural healing power over the past 20 years.

Hills in the picture are not artificially made. They are reconstructed with great efforts to maintain the original figure.

The moat of Mong-cheon mud castel
In western or in japan, every castle is surrounded by moats but it is hard to find moat in
our country. It is the only moat I found in Korea.
The castle and moat here are the only one I saw in our country.

Shhh…..a carp is laying eggs…

To see herons in groups, you should come here.

This one is on guard. Many families but few things to eat…I see the reason why the ducks hid in the bush now.

It is peaceful scenery taken on a bridge

It is like a scene from a movie.

I can feel cool wind in my heart.

Here is another cock-pheasant.
It is hard to take a picture of it. Because it is so sensitive that it just hides away.

In the valley between donjons and exogenous, there are the fields of brassica and barley.

Mong-cheon mud cheon is surely a nice place to come.
Really nice..
Whoever you are with, visit here when you have no where to go.
